Ryder Cup 2023: Rory McIlroy stuck a dagger into Team USA’s heart with this dart

News

The scoreboard in Rome was a sea of blue already at the 2023 Ryder Cup, but the final foursome on the course was up in the air with two holes to play after the Americans won the 16th hole to claw to within one. Then Rory McIlroy delivered an absolute dagger into Team USA’s heart.

The four-time major champ sealed a brilliant foursomes session sweep with this dart to two feet on the par-3 17th hole. Have a look:

Regardless, whatever life the Americans had was snuffed out moments later as Tommy Fleetwood tapped in the birdie to give Europe a 4-0 lead heading into the afternoon.
