Callaway unveils Rogue ST range of woods, hybrids and irons

Equipment

Callaway is launching an all-new range of Rogue ST Drivers, Fairway Woods, Hybrids and Irons, which go on sale in early March and promise enhanced performance capabilities for a complete cross-section of golfers.

The Rogue ST driver is offered in four models – ST Max, ST Max D, ST Max LS and ST Max Triple Diamond LS – each designed to suit a different player profile.

Key Features and Benefits

Tungsten Speed Cartridge

The new Tungsten Speed Cartridge structure places up to 26g low and deep in the head. This increases speed on off-centre hits and provides more forgiveness through high MOI.

Jailbreak Speed Frame
The A.I. designed Jailbreak Speed Frame provides stability in the horizontal and torsional direction. The frame has been speed tuned to deliver more speed across the face than previous designs.

New A.I. Designed Face
Using Artificial Intelligence, Callaway’s designers have added launch and spin to ball speed in the optimization formula. This new formula lowers spin on the face, allowing more forgiveness to be built into the driver.

Unibody Construction
The titanium unibody construction provides stability and lowers the centre of gravity, while a proprietary Triaxial Carbon crown and sole saves weight. This weight is precisely redistributed to increase forgiveness with high launch and a slight draw bias.

Rogue ST MAX is the highest MOI 460cc head with a slight draw bias that’s built for all levels of golfers and offers the best combination of distance and forgiveness. It is offered in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts with a choice of three stock shafts.

Rogue ST Max D is built for golfers who want maximum levels of forgiveness from their driver. It’s built for very high MOI, with a reduced face progression, and a more upright lie. Internal and external draw weighting have also been added, along with a generously stretched profile at address for maximum shot shape correction, especially for players who tend to slice the ball. It is offered in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts with a choice of two stock shafts.

Rogue ST Max LS is a high MOI head built for lower spin along with a stronger trajectory. Players can expect to see a more neutral ball flight, more workability, and lower spin characteristics compared to the Rogue ST MAX. It’s a great option for many mid-to-low handicap players. It is offered in 9° and 10.5° lofts with a Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei AV White 60g (Stiff) shaft.

Rogue ST Triple Diamond LS is a low spin option for better players and is the latest evolution of Callaway’s Tour-proven Triple Diamond heads. It’s the lowest spinning Rogue ST Driver model, with a neutral-to-fade bias in a compact 450cc head. It is offered in 9° and 10.5° lofts with a Mitsubishi Chemical Tensei AV White 60g (Stiff) stock shaft.

Prices: All four Rogue ST driver models have an RRP of £479.

Rogue ST Fairway Woods

The new Rogue ST fairway woods (£299) are offered in three models – ST Max, ST Max D and ST LS. Like the drivers, they also feature an all-new Tungsten Speed Cartridge, new Jailbreak ST, and an A.I.-designed Flash Face engineered for maximum speed with exceptional levels of forgiveness.

Key Features & Benefits

Speed and Stability from all-new Jailbreak ST
The new A.I.-designed Jailbreak system has been completely redesigned to promote speed and stability. The two Jailbreak batwings are pushed to the perimeter, providing stiffness while allowing the face to flex for high ball speeds.

Optimal Launch with More Speed from the Tungsten Speed Cartridge
We’re introducing the groundbreaking Tungsten Speed Cartridge for the first time in a fairway wood. By incorporating up to 27g of high-density tungsten, the centre of gravity is pushed low and forward. The result is lower spin with more ball speed.

A.I. Face Optimized for Speed, Launch and Spin
We’ve applied an all new A.I. face optimization to include speed, launch and spin. This unique face pattern is customized for each model and loft in the fairway lineup.

Speed and Consistency from a High Strength Face Cup
The C300 maraging steel is specially treated through a proprietary process for high strength and flexibility, while the Flash Face Cup provides speed and spin consistency across the face.

The Rogue ST MAX model will fit a wide range of players who want speed, forgiveness, and all- around performance. It’s a mid-launch offering with slight draw bias. It features a new progressive shape to appeal to a wide range of golfers.
Lofts: 3 (15°), 3HL (16.5°), 5 (18°), HVN (20°) 7 (21°), 9 (24°) and 11 (27°).

The Rogue ST MAX D is Callaway’s first dedicated draw-biased fairway wood. It’s the highest launching fairway wood in the line-up and utilizes a slightly closed face, more upright lie angle and additional weight in the heel to promote a powerful draw. This model will fit players that need the most shot shape correction in their fairway wood.
Lofts: 3 (16°), 5 (19°), 7 (22°)

The Rogue ST LS features a deeper face with a compact footprint especially suited for better players. The 28g Tungsten Speed Cartridge and forward weight screw push the CG forward for low spin, while the shape and face profile make this our most fade-capable fairway wood.
Lofts: 3+ (13.5°), 3 (15°), 3HL (16.5°) 5 (18°)

Rogue ST MAX Hybrids

Callaway continues to push the boundary of hybrid performance with the all-new Rogue ST, which is offered in four models – ST MAX, ST MAX OS, ST MAX OS LITE and ST PRO and is priced at £249.

All four feature all-new Jailbreak ST, high strength A.I.-designed Face Cup and precision tungsten weighting for speed and forgiveness.
