Masters 2022: How to watch the Masters at Augusta National on television and streaming online

News

It’s the week golf fans have been waiting for since, well, since Hideki Matsuayama slipped on the green jacket a year ago. The 86th Masters promises the familiar eye-candy of Augusta National, and while some might blanch at the fact there are only 18 hours of traditional TV tournament coverage scheduled for ESPN and CBS, sophisticated golf viewers can watch every shot—literally—of the tournament thanks to the variety of streaming options.

Indeed there are multiple options for how to watch this year’s tournament, from traditional TV coverage to the Masters revolutionary “Every Shot, Every Hole” technology that allows to see everything

In between, Masters.com and ESPN+ will offer three additional “featured holes” channels: one from Amen Corner (11th, 12th and 13th holes); one for the 15th and 16th holes and one for the fourth, fifth and sixth holes, which debuted at the 2020 Masters. There will also be a separate channel for spotlight coverage of two featured groups from the morning and afternoon waves each day.

And this year, there’s a bonus: the Par-3 Contest returns with coverage on Masters.com and ESPN+ from 12 noon to 5 p.m. with ESPN showing two hours from 3-5 p.m.
