Titleist Tips: Hip Drill for More Powerful Golf Shots

A common denominator for really good ball strikers is that they lead the action with their hips and they get their hips open at impact – approximately 45 degrees open to the target line. This rotation is a key to managing the face of the club, the swing path and the angle of attack into the ball.

In the video above, Titleist staff instructor Jonathan Yarwood shares a great drill you can use to train your hips action and improve the quality and power of your ball striking.
